She bought a house!

Editor and Hoosier daughter has now bought a house.  I guess she's staying there awhile.  The bird has flown our nest and found a nest of her own (plus a few temporary ones), which is successful parenting to my way of thinking!

It does seem like just yesterday that she was a baby and we brought her home from the hospital.  Time flies, especially when you have kids!  To quote one of my favorite songs - "Is this the little girl I carried?......Wasn't it yesterday when they were small?  Sunrise, sunset, sunrise, sunset, swiftly flow the days...."  (There's always a song for the occasion.)

Maybe if I do short posts, I'll do so more often........ :-)

Oh dear, I missed another year.  Posting every two years is not good! :-)  And I love to write so you'd think I'd do this more often......

I'm so disappointed in our Republican Ohio senator, Rob Portman.  I really thought we had a good conservative in office now, until his recent statement of support for so-called homosexual marriage.  So sad.  Allowing emotions to rule can cloud your judgment.  I understand showing support for loved ones even when they do wrong, but that doesn't mean declaring wrong to be right.  Traditional marriage (or as some of us call it - "biblical marriage") is the best foundation for the family which is the backbone of our country.  We are "slouching towards Gomorrah", as Robert Bork put it.

Our leaders need our prayers more than ever..................
